Revival Chelsea is a faith-centered community church and nonprofit rooted in the heart of Chelsea, Massachusetts. For over 12 years, we have been a spiritual home for families, immigrants, youth, and neighbors, a place where people find belonging, healing, and purpose.
We believe that every person carries dignity and deserves to be seen, supported, and loved. Through worship, prayer, pastoral care, and community programs, we walk alongside people in every season of life.
We are a community of faith committed to serving Chelsea holistically: spiritually, emotionally, socially, and practically. Whether you are seeking spiritual renewal, community connection, or practical help, you are welcome here.

At Revival Chelsea, we believe that caring for the whole person means meeting practical needs too. Our community food pantry is one part of our broader ministry of care, open to all, offered with warmth, and rooted in the conviction that no one in Chelsea should go without.

Open Mondays: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Food distribution begins at 3:00 PM
No registration required. Everyone is welcome.
ELAINE MENDES
Pastor, Founder & Community Builder
I was born in Governador Valadares, Brazil, the third of nine children. My passion for community work began at age 14 and led me to study education, child psychology, and theology.
Through a course in philanthropy, I traveled across South America, working with indigenous communities and learning new cultures and languages.
For the past 16 years, I've served as a pastor and community leader in Chelsea, walking with families through joy and hardship, leading worship, offering pastoral care, and building a place where people truly belong.

As pastor and president of Revival Chelsea, I lead a community of faith committed to worship, prayer, healing, and holistic service, always grounded in love, compassion, and the belief that every life matters.
